Photo gallery in Hot Property is implemented via plugin system. It allows easy replacing original plugin developed by Mosets with an alternative one. We are glad to present new HP gallery plugin which includes inside two types of slideshows: one is based on slimbox java script (a clone of lightbox JS), another is build on a  CSS slideshow script noobSlide. Implementation of new gallery does not require any hacking - just install and enable our plugin as any other Joomla plugin (original HP gallery plugin should be disabled, of course). Slideshow module is available also.

We are glad to present a plugin for displaying Google Maps for Hot Property component by mosets.com. It works without any hacks of core component's and Joomla files! The only you need it to install the plugin, enable and configure it as any other Joomla plugin. Current version of the plugin generates Google maps for all properties as well as individual maps for each property and company. Moreover, plugin could work with ANY property listing component for Joomla 1.5.

That's all about error 404 "Page Not Found". By definition HTTP 404 is a standard response code meaning that your browser was able to connect to the server, but the requested page/file could not be located by it. Wikipedia provides a lot of information on this topic. For me (and I think others) the main purpose of creating custom 404 page - is search engine optimization. Why should I lose users who made a typo in URL or used an out-of-date link?

As I wrote in my previous article, 404 error page should be at least informative (visitor to understand it's an error page) and useful (visitor to has many links where to go to). But this is not the final task. To my mind main purpose of 404 error page is to track where does the 404 error come from. If it's a broken link on the same site why we should keep saying "Sorry, this page doesn't exist"? Let's try to find and fix it!
